PLAN is a national standardized exam prepared by the ACT organization which is administered to San Antonio ISD tenth graders in the fall of every year.
The PLAN assesses a student’s knowledge and skills with multiple-choice tests of 20-40 minutes in four academic areas – English, reading, mathematics and science. Test results are distributed to each student by campus personnel. Based on a maximum score of 32, each test result gives students and parents an indication of the student’s college preparation progress and assists in making adjustments to coursework if desired. The academic test results allow a student to compare his/her performance to other students on the home campus, within the district and across the nation.
